About Me...
Overall, I don't consider myself to be that interesting of a person, but here's a bit about my life.
My childhood was a pretty normal one. I was born and grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland. I've always loved sports and grew up wrestling, playing baseball, and playing golf. When I was pretty young, maybe 5 or so, my family adopted an abandoned kitten we found on our way to a local park. Since I was the one who found her, I got to name her. As my favorite nursery rhyme at the time was Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, I obviously had to name her Twinkle. Despite some recent health issues, she's still kickin' at the grumpy old age of 17.
A lot of people have horror stories from their time in high school... and I am not one of them. It was overall a pretty smooth four years for me, as my dad had been coaching and teaching at the school since before I was born. I was on the golf team and the wrestling team, and while I wasn't the most successful at either (golf far moreso than wrestling), I had a great time and made many long-lasting friendships.
The freedoms of college have brought me a good few unique opportunities. I have been working as a school-age child care aide/supervisor for the past 3 years and an assistant coach for my old high school and junior high wrestling teams. And, as of this year, we added a girl's high school wrestling team which I also help coach. I've taken up disc golfing alongside my dad thanks to some coaxing from a fellow coach. In my free time I try to keep my programming skills up to snuff by making silly games and little applications.
My Work...
Below are a few of my programming projects, many more are planned to be added here in the future. Mouse over a picture to get a brief overview of the project, click the GitHub link to check out the project's repository (if there is one), or click the download link to get an executable version. Also, regarding the downloads, most browsers will warn you about the Java project downloads being unsafe. This is just because the download link is to a JAR file (usually) from the GitHub project repo. You have my word that they are in no way malicious, but if you would rather download the source code and compile it yourself, go right ahead.
